California, Christmas, Sad News

We love California! There are so many things that are probably so dumb for most but so exciting for me.

• I love being able to look down my street and see mountains with snow. It is so pretty.
• All of my house is on one floor!!! No more stairs.
• The washer & dryer are so convenient. No more basement for me.
• The grocery store is only 5 minutes away. No more Philly traffic!
• I can buy wine at the grocery store, Rite Aide, anywhere!!!
• There is a pool in my back yard!!! Who knew!!!
  

We decided to put our tree up. We were debating since it is only a few days away but what would Christmas be without a tree. Hopefully we can find all the ornaments.

So we are here a whole two days and Paul finds out he will be going to Afghanistan. Looks like he will be leaving around January 5th. He will be gone for six months. At least we have him here for the holidays.
